The last week was particularly cold, so when the weather warmed up this weekend (upper 20s/low 30s), we took advantage of exploring some of the areas around our new apartment. Saturday night we took a stroll around 9pm, which you'd never guess by amount of light that showed up in the pictures. The snow certainly reflects lights and makes the night seems less dark.

This afternoon we took a sunny stroll in Stadstägärden (City Park), which is only 3 blocks away on the other side of the river. We saw several hockey games at outdoor rinks, lots of boats and houseboats in the river, the marina, and ice skating and ducks on the svandamman (swan pond).
