We had the pleasure of being "home" in the US when spring was just starting to bloom in late April and early May! It was nice not only being home, but finally seeing sparks of life and color popping up all around us, especially after spending the winter in the darkness of Sweden.
Our time in the US was spent showcasing Toby to family and friends, which we enjoyed thoroughly. We ate too much, slept too little, but saw almost everyone we hoped to, so it was a successful trip. Toby was great on the plane. We had a bassinet to put him in which attached to the wall in front of our seats and he napped there coming and going. When awake, he charmed the flight attendants and people milling around... such a flirt! We have a feeling our flight at Christmas will not be so easy ;-) A 1-year-old, particularly this active one, probably won't be so content to sit for 7 hours on the flight across the Atlantic.
Here are some select pictures of our time in the US... Enjoy!
