Expatriate Thanksgiving

We may not have been in America to celebrate Thanksgiving, but that didn't keeping us from gorging ourselves on a Thanksgiving feast!

We invited Tyson's mentor and his family over for dinner since they're the only other Americans we know in Sweden; plus, we enjoy their company.  I enjoyed spending most of the day cooking, even though the best I could do for turkey was turkey tenderloins.  Turkey isn't a staple meat here.  After all, they've got reindeer  ;-)

Thanksgiving day was sunny and warm - around 50!
The table all set with holiday lights in the windows.
Making gravy in my Irish sheep apron  =)

The best thing about celebrating Thanksgiving in Sweden... the grocery stores are open on Thanksgiving, everything is stocked, and the lines are short  =)  Hope everyone had a great holiday celebration with friends and family!
